The President of the Naval War College and the Commanding Officer of Naval Station Newport invite everyone to come and celebrate the holiday season with Navy Band Northeast’s Pops Ensemble on Sunday, December 10th at 3 p.m. in Spruance Auditorium at the Naval War College. This free concert is expected to last approximately 1 ¼ hours and will be a fun-filled musical experience for the entire family to enjoy (Santa is even expected to visit the concert!!!)
Guests are reminded that food and drink are not allowed inside Spruance Auditorium for the concert and that any bags carried in are subject to inspection.

ACCESS PROCEDURES: Members of the general public interested in attending must email the Naval Station Newport Pass and ID Office: w_NWPT_gPass_ID_GS01@navy.mil the following information on themselves and their guests via secure means (password protected – please send password in a separate email) no later than 9 a.m. on Dec. 4. Please write “NAVSTA Newport Dec 10th Holiday Concert” in the subject line and be sure to include
- Full Names, (Last, First, Middle)
- Birth Dates (day/month/year)
- Social Security Numbers of all guests over the age of 18
Guests can also upload their personal information directly to a secure website – https://safe.amrdec.army.mil/safe/ - again be sure to include NAVSTA Newport Dec 10th Holiday Concert in the notes section.
Vehicle operators must also have a current driver’s license, current vehicle registration and proof of insurance when driving onboard the installation and recognize that all vehicles are subject to random inspections.
Personnel possessing U.S. Government issued ID cards, valid for installation access, are exempt from identity proofing and vetting requirements. However, they will be required to produce their ID card for scanning upon arrival at Gate 2 for the concert.
