This event is for U.S. Naval War College students, faculty and staff.New student orientation is a multi-day event designed to prepare you for your upcoming U.S. Naval War College (NWC) experience and give you the information you will need to be ready when classes begin. Orientation will also provide you with the opportunity to meet the college leadership team, and learn about your upcoming academic year and student life in Newport.
Orientation covers three full days of briefs and administrative requirements. Additional days beyond the first three may be necessary for service-specific training and administration as well as NWC-specific training and administration. Details will be provided in an orientation schedule made available to all incoming students.
