This event is for U.S. Naval War College students, faculty and staff.The National Security Commission on Artificial Intelligence has assessed the Department of Defense as unprepared for the global competition to effectively leverage AI and based on that assessment has recommended to the President and Congress that the Department take steps to become AI-enabled by 2025.
This talk will explore the AI imperative; AI definition and description; current Navy AI posture and steps the Service must take across basic service responsibilities of man, train and equip in order to elevate its AI-ready state and become AI-enabled by 2025.
