U.S. Naval War College (NWC) President Rear Adm. Darryl Walker and Provost Dr. Stephen Mariano met with Department of the Navy (DON) Director of Strategic Assessment Dr. Cara LaPointe during a visit to the college’s Newport, RI campus, Sept. 30.
The leaders discussed NWC’s research, outreach and education efforts conducted in support of DON strategic priorities.
In addition to her meeting with NWC leadership, LaPointe was also briefed on the college’s Advanced Research Programs (ARP) and Advanced Strategist Program (ASP).
