Welcome back to another issue of The Beacon. Having been here for nearly nine months, I have learned much more than I could have imagined, and I am amazed and proud of the many wonderful things we have done and continue to do around the College. This newsletter will highlight some of the many things occurring at your College.
One of the biggest events we have at the College is our summer graduation in June, which will be my first. During this ceremony we will give out more than 600 diplomas to Naval War College graduates from the United States and from all over the world. As our great institution continues to grow, we continue to support the seven missions of the College. We continue to educate and develop future leaders by teaching critical thinking. We continue to help define the future of the Navy and its roles and missions. We continue to support combat readiness. We continue to strengthen global Maritime partnerships. We continue to promote ethics and leadership within our military ranks. We continue to contribute our historical knowledge throughout the Navy to help make effective decisions. Finally, we continue to build relationships with the international legal community.
I am truly honored and humbled to be a part of the greatest institution of its kind. As always, if there is anything in this issue that catches your eye, or if you have any questions, please give us a call or drop us an email. We work for you.
