Biography

Chris joined the faculty of the Naval War College at the Naval Postgraduate School in 2024 as an Associate Professor in the National Security Affairs Department. Previously, he served as an Assistant Professor of History and the Associate Chair of the History Department at the United States Naval Academy. At USNA, he served as the inaugural Managing Associate for the Forum on Integrated Naval History and Seapower Studies. He holds a Ph.D. in United States History from the University of California San Diego. His research focuses on grey-zone conflict, public interest groups, and strategic competition in the Pacific World.
