Biography

Elizabeth Geesey Holmes joined the U.S. Naval War College in 2015 as the library head for infrastructure and content. She manages the selection and acquisition of library resources in all formats, including creating metadata for the library's catalog and discovery layer. Previously, she served as the librarian at Partridge, Snow & Hahn from 2007-15, as the cataloging services librarian at the University of Georgia Law School from 2001-07 and as the head of copy cataloging and database management at Harvard Law School from 1997-2001. Her areas of expertise include collection development, cataloging, metadata, library systems, acquisitions, and legal research and resources.
