Biography

Jennifer Roberts joined the Writing Center at the Naval War College as Instructor of Writing in 2016. Previously, she has taught writing at Brown University, Tulsa Community College, and Nagasa High School in Kamogawa, Japan. She holds degrees from Yale University, Princeton Theological Seminary, and Cornell University. Her research focus is in the areas of psychiatric anthropology and psychology and religion, and she has written extensively on psychological trauma. Her areas of expertise include Japan, China, modern art and literature, critical theory, sociocultural and medical anthropology, and the medical humanities.
