Joyce E. Sampson, Ph.D.

Biography
After four years of service in the U.S. Air Force, Professor Sampson worked in various capacities, including paymaster at a metal scrap yard, supervisor for United Parcel Service, music teacher and as a professional musician, where she toured with a group under the Armed Forces Entertainment. She wrote her Ph.D. history dissertation on the regicide, Thomas Harrison, who was executed for having signed the death warrant of Charles I, the first tried and executed monarch in history. She is currently translating and commenting on Carl von Clausewitz's “Die Feldzüge Friedrich des Grossen von 1741-1762 (The Campaigns of Frederick the Great, 1741-1762).”
