Biography

Capt. Kadiatou F. Sidibe is an adjunct professor in the College of Distance Education. She retired from the U.S. Navy as a Supply Corps Officer in 2021, after 25 years of service. Passionate about giving back, numbers, and logistics, she focuses on nonprofit management, statistics, economics, leadership, strategy and logistics in the U.S. and overseas. She holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in statistics and economics, an MBA in nonprofit management from George Washington University and a Master of Science in national resource strategy from National Defense University.

Professional Highlights

2020

Military Instructor at the National Defense University

Teaches Economics for National Security. Designs and delivers capstone research course that examines both national and international economics in a Great Power Competition, its influence on U.S. national security objectives as well as the impact of government policies on economics.
2019

Branch Head joint Logistics Operations at NATO

Lead a team of multinational logisticians in the execution of the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers logistics operations, and execution of the NATO’s deterrence strategy. Synchronized logistics operations between the United States and NATO.
2016

Executive Officer at NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center, Bahrain

Led the daily operations of a 215-member multilingual and multicultural workforce in 4 locations across 3 countries in the Middle East. Led logistics operations in support of numerous deployed carrier strike groups, and shore commands and during multiple crisis in the Middle East.
2015

Inspector of Oversight Management at the NAVIG

Inspected 8 programs in support of the CNO and the Secretary of the Navy. Established and implemented the Husbanding Service Providers’ inspection program. Inspected, and investigated into any and all matters of importance to the Department of Defense, Department of the Navy or major components.
2012

Functional Capabilities Board Secretary at the CJCS J4, Pentagon

Prepared and implemented logistic plans. Supported seagoing forces and naval bases. Established logistics policies. Coordinated efforts to fulfill established requirements. Determined priorities and controlled allocation of critical items. Updated the Chairman’s Joint Concept for Logistics.
