Michael Croskrey

Biography

Professor Michael R. Croskrey joined the U.S. Naval War College teaching faculty as an active-duty Navy Commander in November 2004. He is currently a senior professor with the Maritime Advanced Warfighting School (MAWS). He has authored numerous classes for the Navy’s advanced warfighting school and was awarded the Naval War College Teaching Excellence Award in 2022. His primary areas of expertise are joint maritime warfare and operational planning, and his research interests include the study of maritime combat power. Professor Croskrey holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Iowa State University and an M.S. in Aeronautical Engineering (Avionics) from the Naval Postgraduate School.
