Biography

Captain Michael Sherlock, USN (ret) is deputy to the Dean of Academics at the Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island. Mike’s responsibilities includes providing support and advice to the Dean of Academic on all matters regarding the leadership and execution of graduate education program here at the college. In addition, Mike is the Chair of the annual capstone event, Current Strategy Forum (CSF) and serves as the college’s Gift Funds Manager- overseeing and managing the funds provided by the Naval War College Foundation. Mike’s previous roles at NWC included: Navy IG, Deputy, Chair of the Strategic Research Department and Executive Director of the Maritime Strategy Project.
