Biography

Michael Poznansky is an associate professor in the Strategic and Operational Research Department and a core faculty member in the Cyber & Innovation Policy Institute at the U.S. Naval War College. He was previously an assistant professor at the University of Pittsburgh. He is the author of “In the Shadow of International Law: Secrecy and Regime Change in the Postwar World” (Oxford University Press, 2020). His work has appeared in the American Journal of Political Science, International Studies Quarterly, Journal of Strategic Studies, Security Studies and War on the Rocks, among other places. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Virginia and a B.A. from the University of Delaware.
