Biography

Lt. Col. Wabeke, U.S. Air Force, is a command pilot with 3,900 hours in the U-28A Draco and B-1B Lancer aircraft in support of counterterrorism operations over Iraq, Afghanistan and East and West Africa. He recently graduated from the Air War College with a concentration in air power strategy. Prior to joining the Naval War College faculty he served as the deputy commander of the 361st Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Group. He also served as commanding officer of Chabelley Airfield and the 776th Expeditionary Airbase Squadron in Djibouti.

2020

Commander, 776th Expeditionary Airbase Squadron

Installation CC, led Expeditionary Airbase Squadron responsible for SAA/BOS-I/COMM-I/P at USAFRICOM’s largest RPA base. Led 90 officers/enlisted from 27 AFSCs to enable 24/7 RPA operations in support of three combatant command. Ensures force protection for 356 jt/ctr personnel and DoD assets.
