R. Hank Donnelly, Ph.D.
Associate Professor Wargaming Department

Biography
Dr. Donnelly's work focuses on designing, developing, executing, and analyzing wargames to help senior decision makers understand and assess alternative courses of action and innovative solutions. He has developed wargames for OPNAV, INDOPACOM, the Joint Staff, USTRANSCOM, and DLA. Much of his work has centered around operational logistics during both competition and conflict. Prior to joining the U.S. Naval War College, Dr. Donnelly spent nearly twenty years working as a Defense Analyst. Before that, he worked as a Research Astrophysicist at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics.
