Mr. Rick Menard is the Deputy Chief of Staff and Director of Mission Support at the U.S. Naval War College. Mr. Menard is a 21 year Air Force veteran who came to the College as a civilian in 2002. Initially assigned to the Dean of Academics, he transitioned to be Chief of Staff to the Provost and assumed his current position in June 2016. As Director of Mission Support, he oversees the Civilian Human Resources Department, Facilities and Safety Departments, Graphics Department, Major Events and Visitors Department and the Logistics Department. Mr. Menard is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Executive Leadership Program.
