Biography

Professor Rob Dahlin joined the College of Maritime Operational Warfare in 2020 after completing a 32-year naval career. He is a retired naval intelligence captain who served in the Indo-Pacific region for 25 years including nine years in Japan as the assistant naval attaché in Tokyo, as the N2 for CTF 76 and as the N2/N39 for U.S. Naval Forces Japan. He was the N21 for CTF 50 at the start of Operation Enduring Freedom and the embarked N2/N3/N5 for two humanitarian disaster relief operations. He was the chief of the Analysis and Production Center, U.S. Africa Command supporting more than 20 named operations and completed his career as a member of the NWC Joint Maritime Operations faculty.
