Biography

Cmdr. Scott Brickner, U.S. Navy, graduated from the University of San Diego with a B.S. in business administration and the U.S. Naval War College with an M.A. in national security and strategic studies. A career surface warfare officer, he has deployed to the North Atlantic, Indian Ocean, Western Pacific and Arabian Gulf. His operational tours include USS The Sullivans (DDG 68) as the auxiliaries officer, USS Hue City (CG 66) as the navigator and as the operations officer aboard USS Chafee (DDG 90), USS Philippine Sea (CG 58) and USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7). Additionally, he has served at Surface Warfare Officers School as a fleet training (N72) instructor and a maritime warfare (N73) instructor.
