Biography

Steven P. Stashwick is the Managing Editor of the Naval War College Press. He previously served as an Associate Editor at the Press. His own writing and research interests include U.S.-China competition, defense policy and force structure, and the strategic effects of climate change. Still a serving officer in the Navy Reserve after ten years on active duty, he has operational experience in the Pacific and European theaters, served multiples tours on the Navy staff, and mobilized in support of U.S. Embassy, Baghdad.
