Biography

Dr. Tom Gibbons, a retired U.S. Army Colonel, is currently the Associate Provost at the U.S. Naval War College. Prior to his military retirement, he was the Senior Army Advisor and worked in the Joint Military Operations Department. Dr. Gibbons served on active duty in the U.S. Army for 29 years. His teaching interests include leadership and ethics and he has taught the elective course “Foundations of Moral Obligation” to resident students. His research interests include college honor codes, influences on ethical behavior, and assessment in higher education.
