Dr. Tom Gibbons, a retired Army Colonel, is currently the Associate Professor of Professional Military Education working for the Associate Provost at the U.S. Naval War College. Prior to assuming this position, he was the Senior Army Advisor and worked in the Joint Military Operations Department. Dr. Gibbons served on active duty in the U.S. Army for 29 years. His teaching interests include leadership and ethics and he teaches the elective course “Foundations of Moral Obligation” to resident students. His research interests include college honor codes, influences on ethical behavior, and assessment in higher education.
