Biography

Wendy Kieron-Sanchez joined the U.S. Naval War College in 2007. Previously, she served as the head of technical services at Redwood Library and Athenaeum from 1999-2007 and as the technical services librarian at New England Historic Genealogical Society from 1995-1999. She has devoted over 30 years to all aspects of library services.

Catalog Librarian, U.S. Naval War College

Responsible for all descriptive metadata and authority control within the institution's online catalog.
1999

Head of Technical Services, Redwood Library and Athenaeum

Managed all aspects of information lifecycles from acquisition to descriptive metadata to retention decisions. Created and released the first online catalog in the history of the institution.
