This virtual event is open to the general public.The 45th Annual Conference on Oceans Law & Policy will be held virtually March 16-18 by the Stockton Center for International Law (SCIL) at the US Naval War College and the Maritime Institute of Malaysia (MIMA), with cosponsors Korea Maritime Institute and World Maritime University (WMU)-Sasakawa Global Ocean Institute (GOI), and support from the Centre for International Law (CIL NUS), the National Center for the Sea and Maritime Law (DEHUKAM) (Turkey), and the Japan Institute of International Affairs (JIIA).
The conference, which was led by the University of Virginia School of Law since its inception, moved to the Stockton Center last year. The 2021 Conference was held in Tokyo and sponsored by the Japan Institute of International Affairs (JIIA) and the Sasakawa Peace Foundation (SPF).
