Combined Naval Address: The Extreme Weather - Climate Gap: A Discussion at the Intersection of Risk, Vulnerability, and Communication

The goal of the Combined Naval Address is to provide our students and faculty insight on climate and security issues from a variety of perspectives. In this presentation, we hear from internationally renowned meteorologist Dr. Marshall Shepherd who will share his expertise in climate science and impacts of climate change on vulnerable communities. In addition, Dr. Shepherd will challenge participants to think about our own perceptions and bias and how this impacts how we think about climate and security.

Pre-registration is required for NPS Host.
