The Basics of Hacking, Clouds, and Cybered Conflict - Technically Bad Parenting
This lecture presents a very basic approach to cyber security in terms of how hacking occurs, what are clouds, and why ‘cybered conflict’ between the US and its allies versus the major adversaries is such a challenge. On the lighter side, it is a story of very bad parenting (in the raising of the underlying cyber substrate by the US and allies), exploitation of and theft through cyber’s offspring including clouds (by our adversaries), and potential for a worse or better future depending on what these democratic parent nations do going forward.
