Understanding the Chinese Communist Party and Dealing with Covert, Coercive and Corrupting United Front Work

Assistant Secretary Stilwell will give a presentation entitled “Securing Freedom: Critical Thinking” which assesses the geopolitical ambitions of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and their efforts to control and manipulate the information space to influence global public opinion. Using real-world examples of the CCP’s messaging and propaganda, as well as the overseas activities of the CCP’s United Front Work Department, A/S Stilwell will offer strategies to improve critical thinking among public officials, decision makers, and international consumers of news and information who are targets of the CCP’s covert, coercive, and corrupting operations.
