This event is only open to individuals with base access."'Hot Dogs' and 'Great' War:" Admiral William S. Sims and the Anglo-American Baseball League in Combined Strategy during the First World War
This presentation is offered in anticipation of the upcoming third annual "Cardines Classic," which is historically themed baseball game between U.S. Naval War College (NWC) students who will appear in period accurate U.S. Army and U.S. Navy baseball uniforms. The gates to Cardines Field will open at 4:00 p.m. The opening ceremony is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. and first pitch at 5:30 p.m.
