About this lecture series

Lectures of Opportunity (LOOs) offer Naval War College (NWC) students, faculty, and staff an opportunity to learn more about national and international socio-political subjects that may be of relevance to the NWC community.

Synopsis

What is innovation in DOD and what isn't? Is there a difference between advanced technology and innovation or are they synonymous? Are there innovative organizations inside the U.S. Department of Defense and military services and if so, where are they and what do they do? These are questions this lecture from a former White House national security science and technology budget and policy advisor will explore.
