The Role of Congress: Perspective from a Congressional Research Service Veteran

Known as Congress's think tank, the Congressional Research Service’s mission is to provide members of Congress and their staffs well-researched, objective reports on a nonpartisan basis. Ms. Serafino worked there for 35 years and will provide her perspective on trends she’s observed, where national security fits into Congressional priorities, how Congress is structured, and the procedures used to conduct oversight and fund the military.
