This event is for U.S. Naval War College students, faculty and staff, and special invitees only.The primary aim of the 2021 Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) Symposium is to facilitate the implementation of DoD’s WPS Strategic Framework and Implementation Plan by sharing diverse methods, experiences and ideas from people who are actively engaged in implementing the WPS agenda.
Bringing together a variety of experts from U.S. and non-U.S. military and civilian organizations, the WPS Symposium will focus on integrating WPS-related issues into education, military operations, and military and civilian institutions. In addition to discussing their current activities in this regard, symposium speakers will also make recommendations about how we might improve on efforts to integrate WPS into these various domains.
