U.S. Naval War College (NWC) President Rear Adm. Pete Garvin met with U.S. Senator Jack Reed (D-RI), during a visit to the college’s Newport, RI campus, Nov. 13.
The two discussed NWC’s importance in the local community and its role in supporting national security through rigorous education, relevant research and robust outreach with America’s maritime partners and allies.
Garvin also thanked Reed for his support to NWC and faculty briefed the Senator on the college’s wargaming and research efforts in support of strategic planning.
