Biography

Patricia Thow is a professor in the Wargaming Department. She has 25 years experience supporting Combatant Commands, Joint Staff, and State Department. Other positions include various positions in systems engineering, operations research analysis and project management, to include exercise and wargames design; strategic- and operational-level analysis; crisis support; decision analysis; analysis methodology development and process improvement.

Allied Integration Division Deputy & Missile Defense Planner, USSTRATCOM's Joint Functional Component Command for Integrated Missile Defense (JFCC IMD)

Led, designed, planned, executed, analyzed and reported on twenty-five nation missile defense experiments and wargames.

Exercise & Wargames Analysis Branch Chief, Missile Defense Agency

Led analysis team in design, analysis planning, data collection, assessment and reporting on missile defense exercises and wargames.

Senior Engineer, Joint Warfare Analysis Center

Led engineering projects, conducted operations research and strategic warfare analysis, and integrated multi-disciple results into optimized targeting responses to combatant command and Joint Staff tasking.

Cartographer, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency

Generated military maps, digital elevation terrain models and imagery products utilizing cartographic judgment, imagery analysis and intelligence sources to meet operational requirements.
